My little sister showed me a great video, technically it is not a lipdub because it is not filmed in one take but it is hillarious anyways. I especially enjoy the 'sexy scene' on the beach, you will know which one I mean. Check it.

My friend sent me another Lipdub video. I heard this one was done during exams, which makes it even more impressive! Check it out!

If we want our video to be even better than this one we need everyone in it! Remember to sign-up because there are only a limited number of spots! Get your friends involved before it is too late!

Hey folks!

Are you breaking down from constant exam studying?

Solution: Check out the international movement of lipdub videos, mentioned in our lipdub explanation video. Take note: there are twenty-two videos, looks like we are set up to have our video be lucky number 23!

Also, another startling revelation, I noticed that lipdub is composed of two three letter words. Think about it: 2 3 letter words! 23! AHHHHH its everywhere!

OK ok, one at a time! Form a line, single file, single file. Hey! No shouting! SINGLE FILE!!!! Thats better. We are happy to announce that the sign-up for lip dub is now open! There will also be a sign up sheet in the ENGG lounge soon, but in the mean time lets try to get as many people as possible signed up here!

Remember to tell all your friends about this! We need tonnes of people, literally, we will have a scale.

Also, for those of you who have not joined the face book group, you should get on that.

The song was selected because it builds excitement throughout the song, interesting lyrics (which will make for some funny actions when filming), and its the perfect length.

Picking the Perfect Song

We want as much input as possible for this lip dub event. The first way you can contribute to this project is helping us to pick a song. We are taking song suggestions right

here!

There are a few guidelines for a lipdub song to be acceptable so make sure you follow these rules.:

Song Length - The song must be 4-5 minutes in length. A bit over is OK, but under four minutes means that our lip dub video will be too short.
'Lipsyncability - When picking a song please consider that the words need to be lip synced to. A very fast song is no good.
No offensive songs - we want this to be inclusive to everyone, the songs should not be offensive in anyway.

Other factors to consider:

Speed or Build - Songs that build towards a climax are best.

Check out the songs other people have suggested.

Hello Guelph Engineering!

We initially planned to make a video explaining our idea of what Guelph Lipdub will be. School and other time constraints have gotten in the way of achieving that goal. Instead, I am posting a brief description of what lip dub is, and a lip dub video made by another university.

So, What the heck is lip dub?
Lip dub is a mass lip-syncing project filmed all in one take. It is like a music video, only instead of your favourite band singing (nickelback, simple plan, etc...) it is you and your friends! This music video, as previously mentioned, is filmed all in one take, which makes it extra challenging, but potentially more fun.

I got a feeling lip dub video
I saw this video back in September, and I thought it was so amazing. I wished I could do something like that, then I had a conversation with my friend Tony which went something like this:

Tony:Why cant we do it?
Me:Yah, why cant we do it?

So now we're doing it.
